OK so I am not the type of guy that sees something in a store-front window and thinks, “oh my GOD I have to have that.”  It just not my style.  Until recently.

I was walking down Thompson Street in the SoHo District of NYC and got to do a little time traveling in this great 70’s Vintage Shop, Laurel Canyon.  Laurel Canyon is located at 63 Thompson directly across from the Thompson Hotel.  I was drawn to the shop because of the 50% off sign in the window (a brother gotta keep the reigns on his budget).

Check out the cool leather bag I found in the window at Laurel Canyon.

The great slash in prices is due to the fact  that Laurel Canyon will sadly be closing it’s doors soon for renovations to the building.  If you get a chance head to Laurel Canyon and pick up some nice trinkets.  If you don’t find anything there, you may come across something at the sister store, Chelsea Girl Couture, around the corner at 186 Spring Street.  Although there is a small men’s section at Laurel Canyon at Chelsea Girl Couture you’ll only find women’s Designer Vintage Clothing.
