Men are always looking for a way to look their best. Fortunately, living in New York City has allowed me to get out there and explore a lot of options to keep myself looking my best. One of the things that has been embraced overtime by women, but has been a slow burn for men is eyebrow care. Over the last year or so I have become someone who has embraced eyebrow threading.
There is a fine line between what is acceptable for a man when it comes to eyebrow maintenance and the eyebrow care that has traditionally been held as something that only a woman does. I believe that semi-regular eyebrow maintenance makes a world of difference for anyone, especially a man. Take note that I say “eyebrow maintenance”. In my opinion eyebrow arching should be left for women. When a man arches his eyebrows too much (meaning to give it an unnatural high shape) it takes away from what is innately attractive about his face, the masculinity of his eyes and smile.
What is recommended when going to see your eyebrow threading technician is, let them know you want a clean-up. A clean-up notifies them that you want to keep the shape of your natural brow, but neaten your brows so they don’t distract from your face but add to your look. It’s equivalent to a man going to the barber and getting a shape-up for his hair or beard.
There will be a noticeable neatness to your face but not enough where you have to answer the question “do you arch your eyebrows?” You will not have to worry about the change being so drastic that you scare anyone off. Don’t be scared guys, it only hurts that first time!
Cheers,

I’ve been using this brand for quite awhile now. I was introduced to it through a friend of mine. I have to say that this has to be my favorite mineral makeup thus far. They have a color for practically EVERY skin tone. It goes on smooth and rather easily. I am not a huge fan of foundation, but this one doesn’t feel like you have anything on your face. Last, but definitely not least, there are no parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic dyes or fragrances.
A little tip: If you’re like me and you REALLY don’t like stuff on your face, just throw on a light layer of the mineral glow and you’re good!
